YES and KANSAS are going to leave for a joint tour

The legendary YES are planing to start 20 June a tour to perform their old hits together with the new compositions. Such an announcement has been recently made by the band's leader, Jon Anderson.

"Our fans have waited for this from us for a long time," he declared, "So this is the gift we've prepared for them for their patience and love." The tour will be accompanied also by the release of the catalogue of songs by YES. Some compositions have not been performed live by the band for many years. The YES tour will be supported by KANSAS who will fully assemble specifically for this tour. However, there is no information whether the band be joined by the celebrated Rick Wakeman, who quit his native band many years back for his solo career, achieving great success.

KANSAS, who have survived for 26 years now, have suffered numerous lineup changes. Their latest album was issued fully 17 years ago. A year ago the band went through another staff reformation. On tour with YES the crew is going to present the program from their new album, which is being prepared for release. It is entitled Somewhere to Elsewhere.
