"Lightning Strikes" Twice: Yes again on the leading edge of technology with "Lightning Strikes" download off new album "The Ladder"

LOS ANGELES, CA -- YES has partnered with Liquid Audio, Inc., Global Music One and Tower Records to give fans an early listen of their highly anticipated new album The Ladder (Beyond Music). Starting Thursday, July 29, consumers will be able to go to towerrecords.com and download the full album version of "Lightning Strikes", the first single from The Ladder via Liquid Audio technology. The download will remain active on computers until September 28, street date for The Ladder. Towerrecords.com consumers will also be allowed to pre-order the new album and in doing so, receive a limited edition Roger Dean artwork poster of the full album cover. The album and poster will arrive on September 28, street date for The Ladder. Roger Dean is best known for his vivid landscape album covers of YES albums Fragile and Close To The Edge, which have since become popularized as true art.

In addition, YES will send a collectible 30-second DAP (Digital Audio Postcard) of "Lighting Strikes" to their fanbase via radio station web sites, towerrecords.com customers and yesworld.com. These groups represent YES target fans and had previously indicated they would like to receive information.
