Yes - Magnification

By Jan Gradvall

"I've seen all good people" är, tyvärr, lika bra som Beach Boys "Feel flows" på samma soundtrack.

Yes - Magnification

By Jan Gradvall

The nastiest experience I had the past year watching a movie was not when Hannibal Lectar was eating raw brain. The most frightening -- which made made me so scared I could hardly stay there in the darkness at the cinema -- was when I realized watching ''Almost Famous'' that I liked a song by Yes.

"I've seen all good people" is, regrettably, as good as Beach Boys "Feel Flows" on the same soundtrack.

It is therefore very reassuring to hear Yes new album ''Magnification''. Already on the first song they have got flute, bombastic arrangements, constant tempo changes, and signs of "phantoms and demons of the night". It is relievingly unbearable.
