Yes Say No to Australian Tour After Injury
Seventies rock band Yes have announced the postponement of its two-city Australian tour, scheduled to start at the end of next month, after an
injury to one of its members.
The popular group was scheduled to perform in Sydney on February 28 and then Melbourne on March 1, but both shows have now been shifted to September.
Yes member Jon Anderson was injured over Christmas, the tour's promoter said in a statement
yesterday.
"Jon Anderson ... damaged three vertebrae in his spine," the statement said.
"Because of this, Michael Chugg Entertainment has had to reschedule new dates to give Anderson time to recover."
Yes will now perform at Sydney's Entertainment Centre on September 19 and Melbourne's Vodafone Arena on September 20.
The statement said tickets for the original shows would be valid for the new dates, with refunds also available through point of purchase.
