Yeah, yeah, yeah

Back in the 1970s, Yes, a British prog-rock band, found fame through such captivating albums as The Yes Album, Fragile (with its enormo-hit "Roundabout") and Close To The Edge.

Granted, the terminally cosmic band looked like a bunch of elves and hobbits, prancing about in tunics and capes, but they could play like virtuosos. Then members started leaving. Tastes changed. But perseverance has its rewards. Band members came and went until, this year, Yes reunited with its most popular lineup (with drummer Alan White and keyboardist Rick Wakeman). Believe it or not, the band sounds better than ever. A few of the blokes haven't aged well, but singer Jon Anderson (pictured) still looks like a hobbit. How timely!
